UPROOTED THEATRE PRESENTS: HAIR, NAILS & DRESS
UPROOTED theatre Company presents the World Premiere of HAIR, NAILS & DRESS by Caleen Sinnette Jennings. In HAIR, NAILS & DRESS, Gogo Hale is ready for prom night. Little does she know that the hair do, nails and dress she's paid for will turn the Hale house upside down. HAIR, NAILS & DRESS is a funny and touching play about the romantic, economic and familial strains of contemporary life. Ms. Jennings (playwright) has been awarded a grant from The Kennedy Center's Fund for New American Plays, she's a past winner of The Heideman Award at Actor's Theatre of Louisville, and a two-time Helen Hays Award nominee. HAIR, NAILS & DRESS will be directed by Marti Gobel. Tickets are $15.00. Location: InTandem Theatre - 628 North 10th Street in Milwaukee. (featuring Family First Matinee, Sunday, May 27th, 2pm.)
