MYSTERIEN, or, Mysteries of a Barber's Shop
Join us for a pre-Halloween screening of the Weimar-era silent film "Mysteries of a Hair Salon" accompanied by a live soundtrack of klezmer, grunge, blues, and the occasional aria.
Praised by the New York Times for its "bold imagination and musical diligence," Morningside Opera challenges the conventions of opera through inventive, experimental, and multimedia performances. MYSTERIEN is the second production in a season series that explores
the relationship between opera and other artistic genres.
