Essential Directing with Webb Pickersgill
October 1, 2011: If you're a new director looking to get the essential knowledge in order to get better results on your film projects, this seminar is for you.  The best news is that it's FREE for Breakout Team directors, IFP Members, and Collins College Students.

FREE Admission for...
You heard it right... If you are the Director of one of the Breakout Film Challenge teams, a Member of IFP Phoenix, or a current student of College College, then this seminar is FREE for you to attend.  This is just one of the examples of what IFP Phoenix is doing to give back to the community!

What Does a Director Do?

This sure is the loaded question isn't it?  A big misconception is that the director simply says, "Ok, walk in from over there, and play the scene really angry!" and your scene turns into magic.  It couldn't be farther from the truth.  From developing your creative vision, planning, collaborating, relationship building, and directing great performance from your actors.  These are just a few examples of the real responsibilities a director has.

* Note: ALL Walk-Ins will be charged $15 additional.  Please pre-register to avoid the walk-in fee.

** IFP Phoenix Members are required to show their membership card for attendance on the day of the event.  Collins College student s must show their current student ID.
