VivaVoom Presents: Burlesque 101 Series, Part 1
Burlesque 101!
This is a three-part series of one-day classes. Every Sunday beginning November 8. 2-4pm at Pulse Studio. $25 per class in advance, or $65 for all three. $30 per class for drop-in at the door (we do accept cards).
Can't take our 8-week Academy? Dip in a toe for a couple of hours! Take one or take all three - it's up to you!
Learn from the ladies of VivaVoom Brr-Lesque about the history of burlesque, confidence, stage presence, movement, teasing, and twirling!
Class 1, on November 8, features Lola Pistola's 3Cs. Carriage, Countenance, and Confidence.
This class utilizes discussion as well as movement for instruction. Each individual will be asked to look deeply into his/her self-perception and self-awareness in order to let go of societal constraints and beliefs about beauty and body. You will leave this class with the tools to be more confident in all aspects of your life, no matter your profession, hobbies, personality, or lifestyle.
All genders and identities welcome!
18+ years of age, please.
Please dress comfortably enough to move.
No nudity required.
Please bring note-taking materials, a towel, and a water bottle.
