Global Classroom: Pakistan Today: Top Ten Things Your Students Should Know
What do students need to know about Pakistan today? Join us as we discuss a number of these issues (10!). They will include Pakistan's relationship with the U.S, Afghanistan, and India. Plus we will grapple with domestic issues such as the government-military relationship, women in Pakistan society today, and the present economic situation with an in depth look at Karachi, the nation's booming commercial center. For example, what does the mass migration from the countryside to Karachi tell us about Pakistan today?
Educators will enjoy up-to-date information from both speakers, reserved seating to the Town Hall program, a GC resource packet entitled: Top Ten Things to Know about Pakistan, three clock hours, and a light buffet.
