Join us for our second show of the season right after Vengeance at Sundown (10/7-10/22)!

HEDDA is a remix of Henrik Ibsen's classic, Hedda Gabler, highlighting Hedda's struggle using self destructive female archetypes in literature and history (such as Lady MacBeth, Ophelia and Janis Joplin). Inspired by Chuck Mee's use of found text and by the Viewpoints and Suzuki methods, Nikki Przasnyski originally conceived, adapted and directed HEDDA in the spring of 2003 as the culmination of a research grant at the University of Washington. Nikki will again be re-conceiving and adapting her script for performance the first three weekends of November 2011.
