GODSPELL
Thou shalt be thrilled! Eighteen area tweens and teens take to the stage in the Newington Children's Theatre Company's first fall musical, Godspell, October 21-23. Featuring the music and lyrics of award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is a whimsical and contemporary view of the Gospel according to St. Matthew. This vibrant and rambunctious celebration places its focus on understanding, love and kindness rather than hate, crime and sadness. Using myriad modern musical influences including rock, gospel and ragtime, Godspell is an unforgettable theatrical experience not to be missed. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Group discounts are available.
