Cooking with Kids: Granola Bars

Healthy snacks that your kids will love and are actually good for them? We got 'em! Join us for this hands-on cooking class all about granola bars -- real granola bars, not just dessert mixed with oats. We're mixing up grains, honey, toasted seeds, and other nutritious, delicious ingredients to fuel active afternoons and growing bodies.

Appropriate for ages 4-8 years old.

About the teacher: Laure Latham, aka Frog Mom, is the author of the book Best Hikes with Kids: San Francisco Bay Area. She also pens the blog Frog Mom and cooks all the time with her two daughters. Laure's family's love of hiking has made her an expert in making healthy snacks that kids love while on adventures in the Headlands, on Mt. Tam, and around the City.
