Sail With Camp Liberty!
Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting two sail parties aboard New Jersey's official Tall Ship, the AJ Meerwald.
We're very excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Sunset Sail Party this Wednesday, 7/22, from 6:00-8:30!
Meet the rest of your Camp Liberty family aboard this beautiful ship!
Sail will take place rain or shine. If it is storming, we will reschedule. No refunds or exchanges.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Following are some helpful, and even essential, things to take into consideration as you prepare to sail with us.
Plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to departure time. We start boarding at 5:45 PM. We do not want to leave without you.
You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner aboard. We will have snacks and drinks for sail, but no dinner is served.
It is almost always cooler on the water than it is on shore so bring an extra layer with you.
Wear flat-sole, non-slippery shoes with heel straps (e.g. no high heels or flip-flops).
There is plenty of seating around the deck, all of which is hard wood. Bring a stadium cushion, or similar, for a softer seat if you prefer.
Use a shoreside restroom facility prior to boarding the vessel. There is a traditional marine toilet on board which requires the use of a ladder to get to it. This is limited to emergencies only.
There is no smoking allowed on board.
There is no age limit to sail aboard the Schooner AJ Meerwald. Children must be accompanied by an adult unless participating in a youth program.
