Picnique Belgique

Presented by Grain to Glass, a Summer's Night picnic in North Kansas City, featuring local produce, mussels & frites, and fruit pies--served picnic-style under a tent. The dinner will be served 6-8 PM, and will feature Skypes with two brewing celebrities: Michael Tonsmiere (author) and Keith Villa (Blue Moon). The Keynote Speaker is local celebrity, Steven Pauwels--Head Brewer at Boulevard (a native Belgian)! And, the winners of our BJCP Competition (Belgian beer styles) will be announced and awarded around 9 PM!

Included in the event admission along with the Belgian-themed meal, there will be top-notch commercial and homebrewed Belgian beers, and a beautiful commemorative glass for enjoying your beers.

There will be a raffle of beer-related schwag; all of those proceeds will go to reStart, a local agency that provides a variety of services to people without homes in Downtown Kansas City. Must be present to win!
