Milwaukee Youth Theatre presents the performance of "Number the Stars," based on the novel by Lois Lowry. The story unfolds in Denmark during the Nazi occupation. Jewish families are being relocated to concentration camps. Danish Freedom Fighters of all ages risk their lives to help rescue Jewish families and smuggle them to safety in Sweden. This story focuses on the Johansen family and their efforts to aid their Jewish friends, the Rosen family.
