Joel Bakan: How Big Business Targets Children

Law professor Joel Bakan says that in recent years corporations have zeroed in on an important market sector with ever-increasing precision: our children. Bakan, creator of the award-winning film and best-selling book The Corporation and author of the new book Childhood Under Siege, reveals what he calls callous and widespread exploitation of children from manipulative or even illegal marketing methods to dangerous child-labor practices and increasing chemical pollution along with society's shameful failure to protect its kids.
