The Open Door
Tacoma Christian Center presents "The Open Door" A play depicting a presence beyond the visible universe and it's supernatural influence on everyday people. There is a decision to be made and.....The Choice is Yours.
This play is about the dysfunctional family dynamics that occur after the loss of a child as Vern Crenshaw Sr. and Marilyn, the couple, each choose how to cope. Vern is an alcoholic and abusive husband who blames himself for the loss of his son. Marilyn, Vern's wife, tormented by the loss of her son and unwilling to let it go. Vern Jr. and Alicia, his wife, have moved into the same residence as Vern Sr. and Marilyn due to the state of the recession. The two couples endure turbulent dynamics and demons have been assigned to bring ruin to the Crenshaw home. Both Verns, Marilyn, and Alicia are faced with the consequences of their choices for all eternity.
Note: Wheel-chair friendly environment. Not recommended for children under 10 years old. Strobe light, fog, and dry ice in use during the play.
