Strategic fundraising: building support for your cause
Are you passionate about a cause but uncomfortable with fundraising? Are you a nonprofit leader who would like to channel the board's commitment into a more effective fundraising program? This session will cover trends in giving, fundraising basics, what motivates donors to give, and what leads them to stop. We'll dispel some common myths, and uncover ways of building support that are engaging, ethical, and inspiring.

REFUND POLICIES: You can get a refund of the full face value of your event fee within 12 hours of purchase, or if the event is canceled or postponed by the event organizer. $10 of the fee is a non-refundable deposit to reserve your space. If you must cancel, you may request a refund from the event organizer, minus the deposit, up to four working days prior to the event. After this date, no refunds will be issued and the full fee will be charged. Alternatively, you can make substitutions for attendance. Please note that "No Shows" will be charged the full fee.
