Exclusive Seminar: Bill Plympton's Master Class

Bill Plympton (The Tune, Hair High, Guard Dog) will be offering an instructional animation master class at PLASTIC PAPER, a condensed version of the intensive 14-week courses he offers at his own School of Animation in New York. Using live drawing as well as examples from his past and upcoming work, Plympton will use a multi-media format to talk about the creative and business aspects of his work as an independent animator.

Two-time Oscar nominee for animated shorts,veteran animatorof MTV and Spike and Mike's, heis the acknowledged"King of Indie Animation" andformer cartoonist for New York Times, National Lampoon, Playboy and Screw (plymptoons.com). Bill is the only person to hand-draw an entire animated feature film (in fact, 9 feature films!) and is this years honoree for "Pioneer of Theatrical Animation" as well as the presenter for this year's inaugural "Plympton Award for Indie Animation" which will go to an entrant of Burbank International Film Festival, annually.
