Beyond the Canning Jar - City Fruit Fall Fruit Series: Shrubs (Drinking Vinegars
Not to be confused with the local twig and leaf variety, shrubs are non-alcoholic vinegar based drinks with a centuries old history. Lightly sweetened and flavored with fruit and then mixed with soda or tonic water, blends such as Apple Cinnamon, Cranberry Orange and Orange Cardamom Ginger will tantalize the palette and excite the taste buds.
