Edible Insects & Other Rare Delicacies
Edible Insects & Other Rare Delicacies offers a unique opportunity to sample several species of finely-sourced and exquisitely-cooked edible bugs, providing food for thought and delight for the palate. This multi-course meal features insects from California and Mexico as key ingredients for each dish, heralding a local source of nourishment long-prized in other parts of the world. Bay Area artist and Don Bugito creator Monica Martinez, with assistance from bio-artist, CRITTER founder, and Headlands' Alum Philip Ross (AIR '98, '03), will conceive and prepare the menu.
Members at the Fellow ($250) level and above, join us at 5:30PM for a workshop and cocktail reception led by interdisciplinary designer and entomophagist Rosanna Yau.
