The forefather of SCO was a Chinese folk music ensemble founded by musician Warren Chang, who now serves as music director; Roger Nelson conducts the orchestra, which includes bow-stringed instruments, plucked instruments, woodwind instruments, and percussion. Presented by Town Hall. Series media sponsorship provided by KBCS 91.3 FM and KEXP.
