The AIWF NY and Macelleria invite you to an exclusive Chianti Classico Wine Dinner

The Chianti wine region in the heart of Tuscany is home to some of Italy's most well-known and highly prized wines. The Chianti appellation is one that most Americans will immediately recognize, but the true complexities of these wines merit further exploration and contemplation. The geography, history, flavors and aromas of Chianti all come together to make truly intriguing wines befitting an evening of culinary exploration.

Join us for an evening dedicated to learning about the region of Chianti via the wines of Antinori, classic Italian cuisine by Macelleria and quality meats supplied by DeBragga, New York's Butcher.

The Antinori family has been making wine for over six hundred years, since Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always personally managed the business making innovative, sometimes courageous choices, always with unwavering respect for tradition and the land.

Meaning "butcher shop" in Italian, Macelleria is a quintessential Italian steakhouse owned and operated by the father and daughter team of Sergio and Violetta Bitici. Macelleria serves rustic Northern Italian cuisine in a modern and welcoming space. Chef Fausto Ferraresi crafts handmade pastas and uses only the finest meats and freshest ingredients. The meat courses for this special dinner supplied by DeBragga, New York's Butcher.
