Cafe Flamenco at the Verdi Club
Fin de Verano!
On Wednesday, August 24, we are excited to feature guest artist from Jerez, Kina Mendez, and her velvety authentic voice, along with the the fantastic dancer Mizuho Sato, guest dance artist. This is Mizuho's debut in the Bay Area and we hope she will inspire our Japanese friends to come out and support this superlative dancer. Also featured are artists of Caminos Flamencos Jason McGuire El Rubio, singer/dancer Roberto Zamora, dancer Melissa Cruz along with Artistic Director Yaelisa, and the Caminos II troupe. Do not miss this extraordinary lineup, it is sure to be a great evening of fiery flamenco, raw and improvised.
Cafe Flamenco is moving to Wednesday nights through the end of the year, an opportunity for us to lower our ticket prices and offer the community an affordable venue to see high quality flamenco and to experience visiting artists! In the coming months we will showcase more student performers and feature our smaller troupe, Caminos II, and we invite you to share your love of this art and join us! $10 tickets make this a true bargain.
Wine, roses and great flamenco make an unforgettable experience of Spain close to home. Mediterranean tapas are available. These performances frequently sell out, so make your reservations early! NOTE: Cash-only bar and tapas (purchased separately).
