Green Pioneers: A Walking Tour of Downtown Berkeley
Join Bay Area Green Tours on this spectacular Green Walking Tour of Berkeley.
Go behind the scenes and visit local pioneering and high-impact models of sustainability in one of the nation's environmental epicenters in the heart of the East Bay Green Corridor.
You'll experience a unique opportunity to meet the staff and get an insider's view of green businesses such as: The Bike Station, East Bay Bicycle Coalition, Pedal Express, Freight & Salvage, Gather Restaurant, Hotel Shattuck Plaza, and Green Citizen.
We'll also visit Berkeley's new Skydeck Innovation Center and The David Brower Center, a solar powered, LEED certified building that houses world environmental leaders, including a stop at the shared work space HUB Berkeley.
