Overcoming Barriers to Employment
Are you over age 16 with a disability or a parent with a disability and having a difficult time finding employment? The 2nd Annual Barriers to Employment Summit is designed to help job-seekers with disabilities navigate the road to employment.

This free event for job-seekers, funded through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and organized by the Northshore/Shoreline Community Network and Shoreline Community College.

The "Overcoming Barriers to Employment Summit" will offer opportunities to attend workshops on:

 Job Search on the Internet
 Secrets & Techniques to Finding the Right Job for You
 Interview Preparations
 Accommodations in the Work Place
 Employer Benefits of Hiring People with Disabilities

The keynote speaker will be Jelica Nuccio, first deaf-blind Director of the Seattle Deaf-Blind Service Center (DBSC).

The Summit will be in the Pagoda Union Building (PUB) at Shoreline Community College, 16101 Greenwood Ave. N., Shoreline, WA 98133

The event is free but pre-registration is required. Special accommodations or interpreters are available on request.
