Mexican Youth Leaders Farewell Celebration!
Please join the World Affairs Council and the International Visitor Program as we celebrate with 19 youth leaders visiting from Mexico as a part of the Department of State's Jóvenes en Acción Program 2011.
Youth participants are high school students who have been recognized for their community leadership skills, outstanding academic achievement, and service projects in Mexico.
While in Seattle, the youth leaders from Mexico are engaging in dialogue with local youth, volunteering, and examining issues of bullying and domestic violence through workshops and community engagement projects.
This reception will be a finale to the Mexico program and will serve as a farewell to the students.
