On The Spot and the Homewreckers
Two of the Hawaii's hottest comedy improv groups will perform together for the first time at the Arts at Marks Garage on Saturday August 6. "The Homewreckers," one of Hawaii's up and coming improv groups and "On The Spot," Hawaii longest running improv troupe, will host a double trouble Improv Show.
First "The Homewreckers" will perform their signature improv show, a high energy, briskly physical, no holds-barred improv show which consists of a single scene. Then "On The Spot" will take the stage to perform one of their improvised French farces "Le Café". Taken from modern Farces like "La Cage Aux Folles" and "Fawlty Towers," Le Café is filled with improbable situations, elaborate disguise, deliberate absurdity, physicality and word play.
On The Spot and The Homewrecker perform on Saturday, August 6th, at 8:00pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Tickets are $15 general and $10 for students w/ ID and are available at the door one hour before show time. Advance tickets are available at Brown Bag Tickets 1-800-838-3006 or at otsimprov.com. The ARTS at Marks Garage is located at 1159 Nu'uanu Ave. on the corner of Nu'uanu and Pauahi in downtown Honolulu, one block south of Beretania.
