BIOS:
Donnell Alexander has been a Random House author, an NPR contributor, and a member of ESPN The Magazine's original writing staff. He has also worked as a union organizer, UPS delivery person, and unskilled construction worker.

Rob Baedeker is a member of the Kasper Hauser comedy group, authors of SkyMaul, Obama's Blackberry, and Weddings of the Times.

Susan Freinkel is a science writer whose work has appeared in many national
publications including Discover, Smithsonian, and The New York Times. She is also author of American Chestnut, and most recently Plastic: A Toxic Love Story.

Jillian Lauren is author of The New York Times bestseller Some Girls and has an MFA from Antioch University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, and their son.

Marc Maron is a standup comic, writer, cultural critic, radio personality, and host of the top-rated podcast WTF with Marc Maron. He has appeared in countless clubs and comedy programs and released four albums.

Vanessa Veselka has been at various times a teenage runaway, sex worker, union organizer, student of paleontology, expatriate, independent record label owner, train-hopper, waitress, and mother. Zazen is her first novel.
