THE BIB Party

The Bib is a restaurant tournament co-hosted by Eater, Food52 and Charlotte Druckman, in which 16 of the hottest restaurants to open in New York City in 2009-2010 vie for the coveted Bib trophy in an NCAA-style bracketed tournament. Each match-up is judged by a well-known New York personality, who dines at both establishments and renders a verdict to advance one to the next round.

On August 15th we'll hold a gala event to announce the winner and toast all of the participants. Comedian Andy Borowitz will be on hand to present the trophy to the winning restaurant, as well as a People's Choice Award, which will be given to the audience favorite.
