Susan Rice

For over 28 years Susan Rice has been a 'chatterbox" for a living. She has more than lived up to her comedy potiential. Whether it's a comedy club or a corporate gig . Susan has a common thread with all of them, they all love to laugh.
In 1983 Rice began her comedy journey on a small stage at the Leaky Roof Tavern. Her words , her story. She learned how important it was to give and soon she was learning how to receive. Rice found a way
to make her audience feel as if they had just relived a familiar moment or person in their life. Her voice and style were taking shape.
In 1986 Hollywood called. She packed her VW Super Beetle off she went the see what LA had in store for her. While living in LA she landed several comedy shows all of which were national network shows. In 1989 The King of Laugh Inn George Schlatter sold ABC a stand up dominated comedy show called
"George Schlatter's Comedy Club!"
It was the first television credit and it would lead to others; Comedy Express on Fox, Comedy Club Reunion and the premiere week of "The Pat Sajak Show" on CBS, Rice then moved onto cable and did; Evening at the Improv, Showtime Comedy on the Road and the Showtime Allstars show plus Comedy Centrals Stand Up Stand Up
It has been quite a ride for this "chatterbox" from Longview WA. Her career as an actress and a standup comic has spanned over 32 years.
Her greatest feeling is the moment her audience recognizes her as someone familiar. "Its almost like a private joke between them and myself, It's wonderful."
