Directions: Free Water Taxi service from Hunters Point (34th Street and the East River) every half hour starting at 5:30 pm. 7 train to Vernon Blvd./Jackson Ave. (one stop from Grand Central Station).* G train to 21st Street. Exit onto Jackson Ave. and look for the Manhattan skyline.* E train to 23rd Street/Ely Ave. Exit near the Citicorp Building, walking on 23rd Street to Jackson Ave.* *Out of the train: On Jackson Ave. walk south toward Manhattan. As you near the midtown tunnel, follow the signs for 495 West until you reach 51st Street. Walk to Second Street and turn left on Second walking past the Crab House and Tennisport. Turn right into the Water Taxi beach driveway.
