Drinkers & Thinkers: Jourdan Keith Sarah Wyan
Jourdan Imani Keith writes for Orion Magazine's Lay of the Land column about the intersections of race, gender, justice and our environment. The founder and director of Urban Wilderness Project, her essays, "At Risk" and "Desegregating Wilderness" appear in Best American Science and Nature Writing 2015 anthology (Houghton Mifflin).

Sarah Wyan began working in the food and beverage industry at the age of 15, and has only left once for about a year. Ms. Wyan thought that she should have an ad career with better hours, as she was beginning a family! But Sarah quickly returned because she couldn't stay away. She missed the people, the craft, and the community. After spending almost 20 years mixing libations for friends and strangers, Ms. Wyan has delved further into the industry and is currently the General Manager of Oddfellows Cafe and Bar, and soon to be addition of Little Oddfellow's, located in the new Elliott Bay Books.
