This brilliant, witty musical by Stephen Sondheim is not exactly your typical fairy tale. The baker and his wife want a child but have been cursed by their neighbor, the Witch. They beg her to break the curse so she sends them on a quest where their fates are entwined with Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack of Beanstalk fame, and many others. Fun for the entire family!
