MY WEDDING AND OTHER SECRETS: A romantic comedy with a Kiwi-Asian twist, MY WEDDING AND OTHER SECRETS tells the story of Emily Chu, a young New Zealand born Chinese woman, who falls in love with, and secretly marries, a European guy and faces disownment from her traditional Hong Kong born parents.
Funny, touching and heartfelt, the film is based on the real-life cross cultural romance of first-time feature film writer/director Roseanne Liang who co-wrote the film with Angeline Loo.
