The third season of our collaboration with environmental publisher and catalyst Island Press kicks off with a joint presentation by Andy Dannenberg and Howard Frumkin, co-editors of Making Healthy Places, a follow-up to 2004's pathfinding Urban Sprawl and Public Health. Examining the connections between constructed environments (particularly cities and suburbs) and the health of residents, Dannenberg and Frumkin present a diagnosis ofand offer treatment forproblems related to the built environment. Presented as part of the Soundings from Island Press series by Town Hall and Island Press through the Town Hall Center for Civic Life, in association with IslandWood and Elliott Bay Book Company.
