Frances Moore Lappe, known for her phenomenally best-selling Diet for a Small Planet, argues that the biggest challenge to human survival isn't our fossil-fuel dependency or melting glaciers--it's faulty thinking. From global hunger to the environmental crisis, says Lappé, author of Ecomind, we have the resources to make a difference, but "thought traps" rob us of power and keep us from action.
