BONNIE PRINCE BILLY

Harvest Records of West Asheville is proud to present one of our all-time favorite artists, BONNIE "PRINCE" BILLY, in Marshall, N.C.!

The town of Marshall is a half-hour up the French Broad River from Asheville, and will be the perfect setting for an early-autumn evening with the Bonz. The performance will take place in an auditorium inside Marshall High Studios -- a beautiful old high school-turned-studio space, sitting on an island across from downtown Marshall, in the middle of the French Broad!

This show will be partially seated.

We will give more details as they arrive; potential bonfire & food/drink information, etc..

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention, but Bonnie 'Prince' Billy is clearly one of the great American
songwriters to emerge in the last decade. Listen more closely, and you'll see.
Over the course of several albums and countless singles, compilation tracks, collaborations, live performances and material not intended for release, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy has become a sought-after commodity around the free world, as well as some of the uncharted, "evil" parts of the planet.
After his stints performing as Palace, Palace Songs, Palace Brothers, and under his own name throughout the '90s, by the end of the decade Will Oldham seemed to finally settle on the Bonnie "Prince" Billy moniker as the main outlet for his work. Regardless of the name he used to release his music or the musicians supporting him, Oldham's style remained largely the same, pitting shambling and often sparse music against his creaky, world-weary voice and literate lyrics.
