Energy Upgrade California's Retrofit Bonanza
Two years after the initial excitement about ARRA funding for the existing home market, Energy Upgrade California is finally moving into high gear. EUC's marketing campaign is hitting the airwaves in communities around state with an enhanced web portal and consistent market branding. Advertising budgeted for PG&E's territory is $11 million with $80 million for project rebates. The utility reports as of June, 400 projects have been completed with rebates averaging $2700, indicating a high percentage of comprehensive energy upgrades (Basic receiving - $1000, Advanced  up to $4,000/ $7,000 in SF).

This session will provide a full program overview with a focus on program accelerators that contractors will need to succeed in this fast moving environment.
