FREE Tour of the Hudson River Park
This is a round trip tour from Pier 40.
This tour will span the breath of Hudson River Park, starting at Pier 40 (at West Houston Street), traveling south to Pier 25 (at North Moore Street) and then proceeding upriver towards the northern boundary of Hudson River Park at 59th Street. Participants will learn about the history, design and construction of Hudson River Park --the largest park to undergo construction in Manhattan since Central Park -- while viewing the breathtaking views of the Park and the Manhattan skyline from the Hudson River. Participants will also learn about the rich maritime history of Manhattan's Westside waterfront and the changing ecology of the Hudson River.
Please arrive to Pier 40 approximately 30 minutes before departure time. Tickets unclaimed 15 minutes before departure will be made available to standby passengers.
