FREE Historic Tour of the New Jersey Waterfront
This is a round trip tour from Liberty State Park.
Join us as we journey back in time, and around New York Harbor, aboard the sailing vessel Catskill. Liberty State Park Historian Michael Timpanaro will highlight the three major transportation companies that were based in, what is now, Liberty State Park. The Morris Canal, Central Railroad of New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley Railroad have had an immeasurable impact on the movement of both people and goods in the Northeast. Come on board and learn a little bit more about New Jersey's maritime history.
Please arrive to Liberty Landing Marina approximately 30 minutes before departure time. Tickets unclaimed 15 minutes before departure will be made available to standby passengers.
