FREE Robbins Reef Light Tour
This is a one way tour from Governors Island to Liberty State Park.
How much do you know about the "first lady of the harbor," Kate Walker? A German immigrant to the United States, Kate took a position waiting tables in Sandy Hook, learned English from her future husband, and eventually became the keeper of the Robbins Reef Lighthouse. Learn more about this amazing woman's story aboard the beautiful Ventura, on a tour which will proceed directly to the lighthouse where she lived for 40 years, followed by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Liberty State Park.
Plan to arrive at Governors Island at least 45 minutes before your tour to allow time to participate in the City of Water Day festival and make your way to Yankee Pier. Please arrive to Yankee Pier approximately 30 minutes before departure time. Tickets unclaimed 15 minutes before departure will be made available to standby passengers.
NOTE: This is a one-way trip. The first free ferry back to Governors Island will depart from Liberty State Park at 1:15pm. The last free ferry back to Governors Island will depart from Liberty State Park at 3:15pm.
