Event
Improvised Bollywood with The Streetlight People
**Online sales for Friday's show have ended. There are still quite a few tickets available at the door. PLease come to the box office by 7:45.**
The Streetlight People will be exploring the wild and wondrous world of Bollywood for two nights, July 22nd and 23rd! There will be romance, family drama, singing, dancing and more!
With only about 800 Bollywood movies produced every year, we understand the kind of deprivation you are struggling with. Whether it's almost-kisses, some serious dhishoom-dhishoom fighting (the sounds of punching out the villians), or altercations by the altar this is the place for you to get your Bollywood fix.
Featuring never before heard hit numbers like "You're so pretty, I forgot my name" and "Ours is righteous fury for justice" - all fully improvised, of course! We don't know if there will be twins separated at birth, an impossible love triangle, or corrupt politicians, but we know there will be shy sideway glances aplenty, some furious hip action, and most likely a happy ending.
Music by: David Norfleet, keyboard & Neil Wadhawan, tablas
Tickets are $10 online or $12 at the door.
