Maggie and the Sprinkle Tree
Join us for a special morning complete with a visit from author John Bray. Hear him read from his debut children's book Maggie and the Sprinkle Tree and enjoy sprinkle cupcakes!
Oh my, what a delightful and wonderful book this is! I cannot say enough about this book that John Bray wrote and Christian Jackson illustrated.
John Bray will do a read-aloud and the illustrator will show the kids how he draws Maggie, and what it's like to illustrate a book. They will discuss how the writer and illustrator work together to make the story even more wonderful with pictures and will work with the kids to illustrate some of their own ideas. Emma will serve ice cream sundaes with.... SPRINKLES!!
