Mercy Buckets

Start with one adventurous soul, add several "Bucket List" life items, throw in a bit of the inconceivable and a dash of irony, shake together vigorously and then pour out the results. This wild ride twists and turns through experiences that include Christopher Walken, the Brooklyn Bridge, Ireland, a rock concert, 9/11, Cirque du Soleil and Mt. Kilimanjaro. It's a tale about surviving adventures with the will to try something new all over again. And oh yes, this stuff really happened.

Jerry Metzker is a playwright and dramaturg. His productions and workshops include "Queerification" and "His Heart Belongs to Me" at Theatre Rhinoceros; "Broken Toys" at Lamia Ink in NYC and several plays in ABYDOS One-Page play festivals. He is also writing a fictional biography of his much married great-grandmother (http://scandalousbyjmetzker.blogspot.com). Most recently, he was dramaturg for John Fisher's "Fighting Mac!" produced by Theatre Rhinoceros at the Thick House. Jerry is a member of the Artists Development Lab.
