Funny Little Planet is a quartet of intrepid local musicians who have, between them, many years of experience playing rock and roll, blues, country, jazz, reggae, ragtime, bluegrass, traditional folk, and their own unique blend of song and improvisation. Most importantly, they have played together in various permutations over those years and have learned the value of a great group sound. They have performed their eclectic music at rock festivals, concert venues, coffeehouses, country fairs, clubs, talent shows, roadhouses, and dives throughout southern New England, as well as on television and records. The band features John Toste on vocals and guitar, Bruce Gavin on vocals and guitar, Mike McKenney on vocals and drums, and Clem Brown on bass and vocals.

The continuing vitality of these experienced, veteran musicians is evident in their music and engaging live shows. Based in southeastern MA and RI, Funny Little Planet has played at many local venues, including the Narrows Center for the Arts.
