Malcolm is loving small town life in beautiful Honokaa, Hawaii. And why not? Everyone in Honokaa loves him. After all, he's going to be a famous comedian, Honokaa's sweetheart. Then, in an instant, everything changes. His life is turned upside down by a deadly and mysterious virus, Reye's Syndrome. The metamorphosis is horrendous. He's an instant outcast. What's more, doctor's say he's permanently disabled. Now what? Can he still achieve his dreams? Will the stigma of his DISability consume him?
Differently-ABLED accounts Malcolm Grissom's comical quest for life, liberty, and the pursuit of...something different.

His stand-up credits range from winning the Laughter Across America Competition to performing at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival to performing on Comedy Time TV. Joya Cory (Director) JOYA CORY is the creator of numerous original theatre pieces, acts, directs & teaches in a variety of venues and founded the Improvisation troupes, MOTION & LUCKY DOG THEATRE.
