Buried Child by Sam Shepard
For the first show of Classic Theatre's 2011-2012 Season about Family, we present Sam Shepard's classic that punctures the Norman Rockwell-like exterior of American Family life, revealing a disturbingly rotten core. Set in rural Illinois farm country, the play depicts a family poisoned by repressed desires, shattered illusions and a deeply suppressed secret. Features Actors' Equity Guest Artists Rita Crosby and Tony Ciaravino. Directed by Guest Director, Stefan Novinsky.
