Arizona Between Nosotros TUCSON
July 1st, 2011 7pm, MOCA 235 South Church Ave Tucson, AZ 85701 $10 general, $8 members The ambitious new festival, Arizona Between Nosotros (ABN) presents new works of time-based art: live performances and short video works pertaining to current events in Arizona by twelve emerging Mexican artists. Some artists are making their U.S. debut, while some are internationally recognized. All utilize cutting edge art practices and represent diverse regions throughout Mexico. This is en exciting way to see new art and perspectives rarely seen in our home state.

Arizona Between Nosotros partners with the YWCA Racial Justice Program to host a performance art workshop led by the Mexican artists, and a round table discussion about art, identity politics, and Arizona/ Mexico relations. July 2, 2011, 11am at the YWCA, 525 North Bonita Ave. Tucson, AZ 85745, free.
