The Feast of 61 Local Ingredients
Since opening its doors in the dead of Winter 2011, the public house 61 Local has been a stage for community events, arts, and delicious food and drinks made close to home. On Sunday, June 19th we're celebrating the spring bounty with a special dinner event that will feature 61 locally-sourced ingredients (not including beverages). Held in the cozy upstairs dining room, guests will be treated to five courses served family-style, incorporating items like Rick's Picks and McClure's Pickles brine, Mama O's Kimchee, SCRATCHBread's homemade mozzarella, Anarchy in a Jar jams, My Friend's Mustard, Liddabit Sweets candy crumbles, and veggies from Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm as well as the chefs' own rooftop gardens.
The dinner will be prepared by Cathy Erway (author of The Art of Eating In), Josh Greenfield (of YIEatN), and friends.
Full selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase at the bar. Vegetarian option available.

Rooftop Greens Salad with City Chicken Eggs & Smoked Fish (vegetarian option has feta instead of fish)
A full list of the 61 local ingredients will be printed at the dinner. Join us for a happy hour mixer from 6-7 at the bar, where many of the local food makers and farmers will come have a drink. Dinner will start around 7.
