GAR 84 "In Trousers (in concert)"
Local music director Graham Sobelman presents a concert version of William Finn's "In Trousers" in this week's cabaret. The one-act musical, from 1979, is considered the first third of the Marvin trilogy, completed March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland (which then became acts 1 &2 of the Broadway show Falsettos). It seems as though this piece has NEVER been heard in Sacramento. William Finn has also written A New Brain, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the brand new musical version of Little Miss Sunshine.
