Seasonal Eating for Health: Summer
Chinese Medicine is based on the principle that nature can guide us in healthy eating and living to promote vibrant health. In this ancient approach, as the Seasons change the foods we eat should also change to stay balanced. In this class, licensed acupuncturist Daniela Freda, applies the health-promoting wisdom of Chinese Medicine to modern-day life by teaching you about seasonal healthy foods of the Bay Area. You will learn key foods and recipes to detox and strengthen your body so you can stay healthy this Summer. You will learn how to eat your way to health with tastings of delicious vegan-friendly foods and drinks like kefir soda, a cooling herbal tea, and some simple summer foods.
