Inflammation Information
Alameda Natural Grocery welcomes Brian Band of New Chapter supplements for the June installment of the First Friday Lecture Series. Brian will lead a discussion providing an overview regarding our body's response to inflammation. Inflammation is part of our physical response to harmful stimuli, it is a protective measure our bodies use to deal with these stimuli and begin the healing process. However, chronic inflammation can also have a destructive effect on our cells and tissues, compromising our long-term health. The body's natural inflammatory response affects every major organ system, making a well-functioning and healthy inflammation response very important.
Considering the far-reaching impact of inflammation in our bodies, whole-body health needs a whole-body inflammation response. Recent research is suggesting that inflammation has a significant effect on bone metabolism, heart health and aging. Join Brian as he leads an educational discussion on safe, effective, herbal and natural remedies to support inflammation and optimal well-being. This free event takes place on Friday, June 3rd from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Beanery in the Alameda Marketplace.
