I Eat People Like You for Breakfast!
A few years ago U.S. Stand-up Comedian Steven Alan Green booked Jerry Lewis for a fundraising benefit at the London Palladium. This is his hit London and Edinburgh Festival show of his version of that fateful event. It's a "great backstage showbiz story filled with laughs and many gory Hollywood tales." (Top 5 Pick of the Week, The Guardian) But it is also about friendship. Jerry and Steven were friends. At least that's what Steven thought. And when Jerry Lewis, his childhood idol nearly dies at a show Steven produced at the London Palladium, Steven learns a truth about himself.

"I love this story! It's the ultimate comedian story! It's so vile and hideous I just love it!!!"  Rosanne Barr

Written and Performed by actor, writer, comedian, voice-over artist, producer and director Steven Alan Green.  New York born and Hollywood raised, Steven became a comedian at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, performing alongside the likes of Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, and Richard Pryor. He's performed stand-up comedy in America, Great Britain and Europe and has acted in television and films both in Hollywood and England. Also a highly sought after comedy writer, Steven's writing credits include: The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno, The Arsenio Hall Show, Jimmie Walker, Head Writer for Fraser Smith Show on KMET and a contributor to Phil Proctor's "Planet Proctor." In 2002, Steven created and produced a huge comedy charity show at the London Palladium, for Turning Point Scotland, a drug and alcohol charity launched by Princess Diana. "High on Laughter" featured 15 top stand-ups from America and the UK and was filmed for broadcast on Bravo. Steven is also the founder of The Laughter Foundation a 501(c) (3) non-profit that supports comedians, the comedy community, as well as "the serious world." He will be hosting its 2011 benefit show at The LA Jewish Community Center on June 25.
